Social Sciences Department

The mission of the Department of Social Sciences is to provide rigorous academic courses and programs that study social, cultural, political, economic, and historical dimensions of the human experience.

Democracy requires an educated citizenry. History, Political Science and Geography are the foundation of Civics. Your gift builds a ladder for a student to climb. As state funding continues to decrease annually, your assistance is more important than ever. Our Department is home to 11 scholarships, and every year, through your assistance, we offer thousands of dollars to help students.
