For many Southeastern students, stepping out of high school and into college is a very big step. Extending the classroom for these students to learn about other countries and other cultures is a giant leap that can transform their perspective. For many of our students, the opportunity to study abroad is not only their first experience leaving the United States, but often their first time on an airplane. Standing in the 2000-year-old ruins of Pompeii in Italy, or climbing to the top of Blarney Castle in Ireland is an experience that can change the trajectory of their education and their lives.
