TRIO programs at Southeastern Oklahoma State University are a family of federally funded grant programs whose purpose is to improve educational access for disadvantaged student populations. Student Support Services (SSS) and the McNair Scholars Program serve first-generation and limited income students, and SSS also serves students with disabilities.
To increase retention and student success, the TRIO program at Southeastern is initiating a house system modeled after The Ron Clark Academy. This is a dynamic, exciting, and proven way to create a positive climate and culture for students and staff.
